Testimonials

The work Dr. Whaley performed on my mouth did more than change my smile...it change my life! After all the procedures that "we" went through, I can truly now say that I love to smile when I get my picture taken! I also do sales presentations with more self confidence than before and my wife loves to kiss me more than before, too! It's nice to say that I look forward to my next visit to your office. Thanks so much!

Implant Retained Dentures

An implant-supported denture is a type of overdenture that is supported by and attached to implants. Regular dentures that rest on the gums, and are not supported by implants tend to not fit as well.

An implant-supported denture is used when a person does not have teeth in the jaw, but has enough bone in the jaw to support implants properly. An implant supported denture has special attachments that snap onto the implants, therefore securing them.

Implant-supported dentures are generally made for the lower jaw because standard dentures tend to be less stable there. Generally a regular denture made to fit an upper jaw is very stable on its own and does not need the extra support offered by implants.

You can remove an implant-supported denture easily although some people prefer to have fixed (permanent) crown and bridgework. Your dentist will consider your particular needs and preferences when suggesting fixed or removable options.

Don’t let the embarrassment of missing teeth keep you from enjoying life to the fullest. Restore your solid smile with natural-looking dentures and partials from Triad Cosmetic Dentistry.

Durable and attractive, dentures are an ideal solution to return your smile if you’ve lost teeth to disease, decay, or trauma. Full dentures contain an upper and/or lower row of prosthetic teeth on a gum-colored base. Designed to look natural and fit comfortably, they restore performance and appearance to damaged smiles. If you have healthy teeth remaining, partial dentures, or partials, can fill in the gaps left by missing teeth. Some patients benefit from immediate dentures. This procedure involves immediately placing dentures after extraction of irreparably damaged or decayed teeth.
